Classes

Cancel a class
You can cancel a class up to 2h before a class starts to receive a full refund or your credit returned.

Can I turn up late
All classes will start on time and there is 5-15mins before a class for the teachers to set up and get ready allowing us to start on time. Especially for Yoga and Pilates the door may be locked 5 mins after class so please try to get there on time. If you are no longer able to come to the class please cancel.

Waitlist
If you are on waitlist you will automatically be added to the class when a space comes up. If it is less than 2h before a class you will be sent an email or a text to accept your place. It is now fastest finger first so please keep an eye out if you want to go to the class.

Late cancels and no shows

We are sorry but this is happening too much and affecting others ability to go. We are moving to a 3 strikes and a little fine. If you do not cancel in time or you no show to a class it will create a little mark on your system. 3 of these in any rolling month and you will incur a fee £10 which we will give to charity at the end of the year.

What classes does my membership allow me to go to?

All classes on the time table from both Studio 1 and Studio 2

Do I need my own mat?

We do provide mats but your welcome to bring your own if you would prefer.

Which class should I try?

If you want to start slowly try some gentle yoga. If you want something more advance try a strength class or dynamic Yoga. If you have Instagram check out the types of yoga and Pilates to see which one is for you. However all our classes are mixed ability so a first time gym goer is very welcome next to an experienced marathon runner, we all learn from each other.

mums and babies

When can I join a class after giving birth?

We ask that you give yourself 6-10 weeks of recoup and recovery time before returning to a class setting. Closer to 10 weeks post C-section as there is a lot of healing happening. We are here to support you whether you decide to join us at 8 week or 6 months, it's your journey.

I have been told / I think I have a diastasis - can I still train?

Yes - It is safe to train with a diastasis. If you have seen a physio and the guidance is that you have a particularly wide and soft separation, it would be a great opportunity to make the most of our pilates classes as well as the strength sessions. However, in both settings you will be supported in how to regain that strength. Remember, you are not broken, just a little weaker right now.

Can I bring my buggy with me? Yes in Studio 1 There is space next to your mat and also in the entrance for a buggy. If Yoga in stuido 2 we ask you to try not too as there are no shoes or buggies past the entrance, where there is limited space.

Does it matter if my baby cries in class? Absolutely Not. It is totally normal and you don't need to worry. Our coaches will do anything to help, along with plenty of toys to ease the tears.

Can I change my baby in the studio?

Yes - If you have a portable change mat, just use that on your workout mat. We also have a padded changing mat on the way to the studio for use.

Can I feed my baby at the studio?

ALWAYS - you are welcome to stay exactly where you are on your mat, or we also have benches situated at the front of the studio if you find sitting up more comfortable.

Can I come along if I don't have my baby with me?

If you get that sweet opportunity when someone else is watching your little one, we WANT you to come and use it. Enjoy that baby free workout!

What age do I have to stop bringing my baby?

We don't have a strict age limit, however there will come a time when your small is starting to walk/run around and it can be tricky for you to focus on your workout versus following them around. This has often been around the 18 month mark.

Can my partner bring our baby along for a workout?

Non birthing partners can join our Thursday 10am session or Dads and Babies on a Sunday at 10am.

When can I join Level 2?

Level 2 Parent and Baby involves a little more conditioning/intensity and practise for a strong return to impact. We would suggest giving yourself a minimum of the fourth trimester or equivalent time, depending when you return to training. There are always modifications available in each class, so don't fret, this is not a 'go hard or go home' setting!

Parking

Where can I park?

There are parking restrictions weekdays 12-2pm but other than that you can park on a lot of the roads near by, further up on Milkwood Road, Caver road (the other side of Sainsburys local), Stradella or Shardcroft. If you are trying to park between 12-2pm on a weekday the lido carpark allows 2 free hours parking less than a 5 min walk.
